Financial Director Job Summary:

The Financial Director is responsible for overseeing the finance and accounting department, budgeting process, and financial efficiency of the organization. They report to the Executive Director and lead the development of financial strategies.

Financial Director Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise the finance department
• Implement financial strategies
• Enhance operational efficiency
• Prepare budgets and long-term financial plans
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
• Manage financial controls and procedures
• Prepare and review financial statements
• Manage funding sources and government filings
• Liaise with banks, auditors, and suppliers

Financial Director Requirements:

• CPA or equivalent qualification
• 10+ years of finance and accounting experience
• 5+ years of leadership experience
• Advanced computer skills
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
