Bar Manager Role Summary:

A service focused role, coaching and guiding bar team members to provide consistent excellent service, with a keen eye to maximizing the customer experience with Wines and Beverages.

Bar Manager Responsibilities:

  • Work with your team to ensure the smooth running of the Bar service
  • Ongoing and up to date knowledge of the Wine Cellar, Cocktail menu and all other specialist beverages that the Bar offers
  • Development of the teams knowledge of all wines, spirits cocktails and beverages served along with any recommended Pairings
  • Help drive, motivate and encourage the teams to look for areas where we can deliver more
  • Coach, counsel and train team to deliver exceptional customer service at all times
  • Act as first initial point of contact for issues regarding customer complaints, service and maintenance standards
  • Ensure that all Bar areas are kept clean, tidy , well stocked and always ready for service

Bar Manager-Key Performance Indicators:

  • Drive data capture by engaging team
  • Customer feedback, health & safety standards,
  • Ongoing feedback from line managers, peers and team. Feedback from senior management/regular floor walks, employee survey results Ensure standard of procedures and service level (SOPs) are understood across the team and well executed
  • Ensure a faultless guest experience across the restaurant and look after complaints
