Description:
This position requires a person who possesses not just excellent cooking skills, but also leadership skills and interpersonal skills. In our continuous effort to maintain a destination restaurant the Sous Chef is pivotal in maintaining a focused and well trained staff, acting as a liaison between the front and the back of the house and assuring that the kitchen operates in a clean orderly and safe fashion.
The Sous Chef must work closely with the Executive Chef to create a strong culinary repertoire within the culinary philosophy. Above all he/she must do all to create and maintain an environment where professionalism, cooperation and enthusiasm can flourish among the restaurant staff.
Requirements:
CULINARY CREDENTIALS include the following:
– Experience in Western & Asian cuisine specialized.
– Experience as an Sous Chef or Chef de cuisine managing over 20 person culinary brigade.
– Experience in a 1 Michelin star restaurant or higher.
– Over 8 years culinary experience
