Head Bar Manager

Job Summary:

• As a Head Bar Manager, you will oversee, direct and coordinate the planning, organization, training, and recruitment for all beverage-related aspects of this exciting new project

• You will display first-class leadership at all times,

• To ensure that standards in service, guest experience, talent management, drinks quality, hygiene, and inventory control are consistently achieved to the highest possible levels.

• You will be the lead on ensuring a quality offering for all guests.

• Continuous development of the venue drinks program

• Ensuring that the venue is ahead of the curve in terms of quality and innovation

• Working in close partnership with suppliers to ensure quality, authenticity, and consistency of ingredients

• Leading on the creation of all drinks lists across the venue

• Championing team knowledge across the board on all beverage, including ice, for all team members

• Monitoring and managing beverage knowledge and training requirements across the bars and front of house

• Leading from the front to uplift and empower the bar team at all times to deliver memorable experiences to each and every guest

• Commitment to the continuous development of all bar team members

Key Requirements:

• 4-5 years minimum as a leader in large, high-end, high-volume bars, ideally in a large international F&B hub

• A service-driven, charismatic leader with a clear passion for people and hospitality

• Experience running a global top 50 bar is a must

• Demonstrable

• Solid experience in creative mixology as well as in-depth knowledge of classic cocktails

• A relentlessly positive attitude, showing commitment and a teamwork mindset at all times

• Commitment to honesty, safety, innovation, transparency, and determination

• Bachelors’ Degree in Hospitality Management or a related discipline highly desirable

• Wines and Spirits Education Trust (WSET) Level 3 or above

• Any further accreditations in Mixology, Spirits, and Wines highly beneficial

• Strong communication skills

• Fluency in English is a must, other languages are desirable
