About the Role:
Step into the heartbeat of one of Singapore’s most socially vibrant dining and drinking destinations. Nestled in the heart of the city, our award-winning bar and restaurant is known for its playful yet polished atmosphere, eclectic food and drink menus, and globally inspired cocktail programme. We’re on the lookout for a charismatic, forward-thinking Assistant Bar Manager ready to shake up the scene (and a few cocktails along the way). This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, design-forward setting and is eager to help lead a talented team of bartenders in delivering unforgettable guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Bar Manager in overseeing all aspects of bar operations, from planning to execution.
- Lead the bar team to ensure smooth and efficient service, maintaining high standards of hospitality.
- Contribute to the creation and execution of signature cocktails and seasonal menus.
- Monitor inventory, manage stock levels, and liaise with suppliers to ensure optimal supply and cost control.
- Train, mentor, and inspire the bar team to enhance performance and product knowledge.
- Ensure strict compliance with hygiene, health, and safety standards in all bar areas.
- Handle guest feedback professionally and proactively to enhance the customer experience.
- Assist with scheduling, reporting, and administrative duties as needed.
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of supervisory experience in a bar or hospitality environment.
- Strong knowledge of classic and modern cocktails, spirits, and beverage trends.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, team work and team motivation skills.
- Ability to multitask and perform effectively in a high-volume setting.
- A proactive and hands-on attitude with a passion for guest service.
- Knowledge of bar management systems and inventory software is a plus.
- WSET or equivalent beverage certification is advantageous.
