Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Spa & Wellness Manager to lead and manage our luxury spa and wellness operations in Hong Kong. With a passion for health and wellness, the ideal candidate will bring exceptional leadership and operational skills to the table. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the spa’s daily operations, ensuring a seamless guest experience from start to finish. Your leadership will not only guarantee the highest level of guest satisfaction, but also drive growth and profitability. From managing the team to implementing innovative wellness offerings, this role offers an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on our spa’s success.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Operational Management:

    • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the spa and wellness center, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning.
    • Additionally, manage all spa staff, including therapists, wellness coaches, and support staff, providing training, guidance, and performance evaluations.
    • In tandem, maintain a high standard of cleanliness, organization, and maintenance of spa facilities.
    • Furthermore, ensure the spa complies with health and safety regulations, including cleanliness standards, hygiene practices, and equipment safety.
  2. Guest Experience:

    • Ensure an exceptional and personalized experience for every guest, from arrival to departure.
    • In addition, address any guest concerns or feedback in a professional and timely manner to ensure guest satisfaction.
    • Furthermore, develop and implement spa packages and programs tailored to the needs and preferences of guests.
  3. Financial Management:

    • Create and manage the spa’s budget, controlling costs while maximizing profitability.
    • Additionally, monitor financial performance, including revenue, expenses, and profit margins, and take corrective action when necessary.
    • Moreover, develop pricing strategies and promotional campaigns to attract new clients and retain existing ones.
  4. Staff Leadership & Development:

    • Lead, motivate, and manage a high-performing team of spa therapists, wellness professionals, and support staff.
    • Next, recruit, train, and retain a team of skilled professionals who uphold the spa’s standards of excellence.
    • Then, foster a positive, collaborative work environment that encourages professional growth and employee satisfaction.
  5. Marketing & Promotion:

    • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional strategies and marketing materials that highlight spa services.
    • For instance, implement initiatives to drive foot traffic, enhance brand awareness, and promote wellness offerings.
    • Such as, track and analyze customer feedback and market trends to keep services relevant and competitive.
  6. Product & Service Innovation:

    • Continuously assess and update the spa menu to ensure offerings meet the latest trends and guest preferences.
    • Also, evaluate new wellness products, treatments, and technologies, incorporating them into the service menu where applicable.
    • Furtheremore, partner with leading wellness brands and therapists to offer exclusive services and products.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a managerial role within a spa, wellness center, or luxury hotel environment.
  • Proven track record of success in managing a high-end spa or wellness facility.
  • Strong leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Financial acumen, with experience in budgeting and cost control.
  • In-depth knowledge of spa treatments, wellness practices, and current industry trends.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; knowledge of spa management software is a plus.
  • Proficiency in English and Cantonese or Mandarin is highly preferred.
  • Passion for wellness, beauty, and self-care.
  • Strong understanding of customer service excellence and the luxury service environment.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required.
  • Outstanding communication skills and a professional demeanor.
