Job Overview:
We are collaborating with our client to find a dedicated Room Attendant to join their esteemed team in Dubai, where they will play a key role in ensuring a truly memorable and comfortable experience for each guest. This position is responsible for meticulously cleaning and maintaining guest rooms and public areas, upholding the highest standards of cleanliness, comfort, and hospitality. With a keen eye for detail and a commitment to excellence, the Room Attendant creates an inviting environment where guests can relax, feel welcomed, and truly unwind, enhancing their overall stay.
In addition to standard cleaning duties, the Room Attendant’s responsibilities extend beyond the routine, as they take great pride in delivering exceptional service. From making beds with precision to ensuring bathrooms are spotless and amenities are thoughtfully arranged, every task contributes directly to guest satisfaction. By maintaining the hotel’s impeccable reputation for quality and attention to detail, this role plays a crucial part in ensuring every guest enjoys a pristine, comfortable, and inviting space throughout their stay.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and tidy guest rooms daily according to hotel standards.
- Change bed linens and make beds to ensure a comfortable and inviting space.
- Replenish towels, toiletries, and other room amenities to maintain a well-stocked environment.
- Vacuum carpets, dust furniture, and clean bathrooms to ensure every area is spotless.
- Report maintenance problems or safety hazards promptly.
- Ensure guest privacy and security at all times to maintain a safe and respectful atmosphere.
- Respond to guest requests promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction.
- Maintain housekeeping carts, storage areas, and equipment in an orderly and functional state.
- Follow health and safety regulations and procedures to promote a safe working environment for everyone.
Requirements:
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience (preferred but not required).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
- Physical ability to perform repetitive tasks, stand, lift, bend, and move for extended periods.
- Good communication and time management skills.
- Flexible schedule, including availability on weekends and holidays.
Working Conditions:
- Fast-paced hotel or resort environment.
- Physically demanding, requiring regular lifting and movement.
- Interaction with guests and hotel staff.
