Restaurant Head Waiter
A service-focused role, coaching and guiding team members to provide consistently excellent service, with a keen eye to maximizing the customer experience.
Restaurant Head Waiter Responsibilities:
- Work with the Restaurant management team to ensure the smooth running of the restaurant
- Help drive, motivate, and encourage the teams to look for areas where we can deliver more
- Support and develop the Waiters and Commis waiters
- Coach, counsel, and train team to deliver exceptional customer service at all times
- Act as the first initial point of contact for issues regarding customer complaints, service and maintenance standards
- Ensure adherence to company policies, controls, and standards
Key Performance Indicators:
- Drive data capture by engaging the team
- Customer feedback, health & safety standards
- Ongoing feedback from line managers, peers, and team. Feedback from senior management floor walks, and employee survey results Ensure standard of procedures and service levels (SOPs) are understood across the team and well-executed
- Ensure a faultless guest experience across the restaurant and/or your section
- Supporting any related administrative duties, ensuring they are completed accurately and on time
