About the Position
Job title: Restaurant Reception Manager
Summary:
We are looking for a friendly and detail-oriented Restaurant Reception Manager to join our team! In this role, you will play a key role in fostering positive relationships with our guests, ensuring their needs are met, and exceeding their expectations throughout their dining experience.
Job Description for Reception Manager:
- Greet guests warmly, answer questions, and provide exceptional Guest service throughout their visit
- Effectively address guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and timely manner, working towards resolution and exceeding expectations
- Manage reservations and walk-in guests, ensuring optimal seating arrangements
- Manage guest reservations, seating arrangements, and waitlists
- Proactively identify guest needs and go the extra mile to ensure their satisfaction
- Build Guests database on the reservation system with the most up to date data
- Assist with managing online reviews and social media engagement
- Liaise with the kitchen and service staff to ensure smooth operations
- Communicate special guest requests and dietary restrictions to the relevant team members
- Maintain a positive and welcoming atmosphere in the restaurant
- Uphold all company policies and procedures
- Collaborate with other restaurant staff to ensure smooth service flow
- Collect guest feedback and communicate it to management to improve restaurant operations
Requirements for Reception Manager:·
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar or same role
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to providing exceptional service
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude, a genuine smile, and a passion for the restaurant industry
- Experience with restaurant reservation systems is a must
