Restaurant Manager Responsibilities:
- Oversee general Front-of-House daily operations of Japanese restaurant
- Coordinate and work closely with kitchen team to deliver quality food and guest experience
- Respond efficiently to guest complaints and queries with urgency, poise, and no judgement
- Deliver great and warm service to restaurant guests
- Maintain high standards of quality control, hygiene, and safety in the dining area
- Organize and supervise shifts. Manage whole front-of-house team, including scheduling, mentoring, developing, and disciplining
- Train and educate new team members
Restaurant Manager Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a Japanese restaurant
- Strong knowledge and understanding of Japanese cuisine and culture
- Effective leadership, motivational, and people skills
- Excellent financial and time management skills
- High quality food and customer service standards
- Proficiency in Japanese language is preferred but not at all necessary
