Japanese Head Chef ShenZhen Job Responsibilities:
1. Overseeing and directing the entire kitchen operation
2. Preparing and serving food at the counter while interacting with customers;
3. Food sourcing & procurement;
4. Creating and planning menu;
5. Preparing food cost budget;
6. Monitoring inventory and keeping control of stock;
7. Managing and training the kitchen staff;
8. Ensuring the kitchen meets high standards of quality;
9. Complying with and enforcing sanitation regulations and safety standards;
Requirements:
• Native Japanese speaker and daily conversational level in English;
• 10 years or above Omakase experience;
• Familiar with industry’s best practices;
• Strong in leadership, planning skills, communication skills, training and coaching skills;
• Good computer knowledge in Microsoft Office;
• Pre-opening experience in restaurant is an advantage.
