Position Overview:

We are looking for a dedicated and dynamic Restaurant Manager to oversee the operations of a fine-casual dining restaurant in Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the restaurant, ensuring a seamless dining experience, and leading the front-of-house (FOH) team. Moreover, they will maintain the highest levels of service and customer satisfaction. This role requires a strategic thinker who can not only balance day-to-day operations but also align them with long-term goals to ultimately drive the restaurant’s success.

Key Responsibilities:

1.Operational Management:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring that all departments run smoothly and effectively.
  • In addition, monitor and manage the floor during service to consistently maintain high standards of quality and efficiency.
  • Furthermore, ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations, in line with Saudi law, to promote a safe and reliable dining environment for all customers.

2.Team Leadership:

  • Recruit, train, and supervise FOH staff, thereby fostering a positive and professional work environment.
  • Additionally, schedule shifts and manage labor efficiently to optimize productivity, while simultaneously controlling costs.
  • Moreover, provide regular coaching and feedback to ensure continuous improvement and enhance overall team performance.

3.Customer Service Excellence:

  • Ensure every guest receives exceptional service and promptly address any issues or complaints to maintain a high level of satisfaction.
  • Additionally, cultivate relationships with regular patrons and VIP guests, thereby enhancing loyalty and long-term customer satisfaction.
  • Furthermore, conduct regular training sessions to consistently maintain and elevate superior service standards across the team.

4.Financial Management:

  • Manage budgets, track expenses, and implement cost-control measures to ensure financial efficiency and sustainability.
  • Additionally, analyze sales reports and key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify opportunities for growth and improve overall performance.
  • Moreover, collaborate with the executive team to develop effective promotional strategies aimed at increasing revenue and attracting more customers.

5.Inventory and Vendor Management:

  • Oversee inventory levels, ensuring an adequate supply of products while minimizing waste and optimizing efficiency.
  • Furthermore, establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to secure high-quality products at the best possible rates.
  • Additionally, monitor and manage beverage and liquor stock carefully, ensuring proper inventory control to avoid shortages or excess.

6.Marketing and Event Coordination:

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to promote the restaurant effectively and attract a steady flow of customers.
  • In addition, plan and execute special events, seasonal promotions, and private dining experiences to create memorable guest experiences.
  • Moreover, engage in local community events and partnerships to enhance brand visibility and strengthen the restaurant’s presence in the market.

7.Staff and Guest Safety:

  • Maintain a secure environment for both staff and guests, prioritizing safety at all times.
  • Furthermore, ensure proper handling of emergencies, including first aid and evacuation procedures, to safeguard everyone in the restaurant.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or similar leadership role in upscale dining establishments.
  • Strong knowledge of fine-dining or fine-casual dining operations.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze financial data and manage budgets effectively.
  • Strong customer service focus with an eye for detail and quality.
  • Proficiency in point-of-sale (POS) systems and restaurant management software.
  • Fluent in English; Arabic language skills are an advantage.
