Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Cloud Kitchen Manager to oversee the operations of a cloud kitchen facility. In this role, you will manage kitchen staff, streamline order processes, and coordinate with delivery platforms to ensure seamless operations. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining high-quality food production and ensuring customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operations and leadership, along with a deep understanding of delivery-focused food businesses.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Operational Management:

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the cloud kitchen, ensuring efficiency and seamless workflow.
  • Additionally, oversee order processing, making sure to prioritize timely and accurate preparation for deliveries.
  • Furthermore, monitor kitchen equipment regularly to ensure its functionality and arrange for necessary maintenance when required.
  • Moreover, ensure strict compliance with health, safety, and food hygiene standards, adhering to Saudi regulations at all times. Ultimately, work towards optimizing operational performance while maintaining high standards of service and quality.

2. Staff Management:

  • Recruit, train, and supervise kitchen staff to maintain high performance and productivity, fostering a positive work environment that encourages continuous learning and development.
  • In addition, schedule staff shifts to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours, optimizing staffing levels to meet demand while ensuring efficient kitchen operations.
  • Furthermore, conduct performance reviews and provide coaching or training as needed, offering constructive feedback and personalized support to help staff improve their skills and reach their professional goals.

3. Delivery Coordination:

  • Act as the point of contact for delivery partners like Talabat, Jahez, or HungerStation, maintaining strong communication to ensure smooth coordination and timely order fulfillment.
  • Additionally, monitor delivery times and resolve any logistical or operational issues, proactively addressing delays or discrepancies to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Furthermore, ensure proper packaging to maintain food quality during transportation, implementing best practices to preserve freshness, temperature, and presentation throughout the delivery process.

4. Quality Control:

  • Implement and monitor quality assurance processes to maintain consistent food standards, ensuring every dish meets the highest quality before leaving the kitchen.
  • Additionally, conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with food safety regulations, identifying areas for improvement and ensuring all standards are consistently upheld.
  • Furthermore, address and resolve customer complaints or quality-related issues promptly, taking immediate action to rectify any concerns and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.

5. Inventory and Supply Chain Management:

  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers for timely replenishment of stock, ensuring the kitchen remains well-stocked and able to meet customer demand without delays.
  • Additionally, optimize purchasing processes to minimize wastage and control costs, implementing strategies to improve inventory turnover and reduce excess stock.
  • Furthermore, track and forecast inventory needs based on demand trends, analyzing past sales data to predict future requirements and ensure the kitchen is prepared for fluctuations in order volume.

6. Financial Oversight:

  • Assist in budgeting and financial planning for the kitchen, working closely with management to establish financial goals and ensure the kitchen operates within budgetary constraints.
  • Additionally, monitor costs related to food production, labor, and delivery operations, tracking expenditures to identify opportunities for cost optimization and better resource allocation.
  • Furthermore, analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for cost reduction or efficiency improvements, using data-driven insights to make informed decisions that enhance overall operational performance and profitability..

7. Marketing and Business Development Support:

  • Collaborate with marketing teams to coordinate promotions on delivery platforms.
  • Next, work closely with chefs and culinary teams to introduce new menu items or virtual brands.
  • Additionally, use data analytics to identify popular dishes, optimize pricing, and ultimately enhance customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in kitchen management, cloud kitchens, or food delivery operations.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management, logistics, and food production processes.
  • Proficiency in delivery management platforms (e.g., Talabat, Jahez, HungerStation).
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of Saudi food safety regulations is a plus.
  • Fluent in English; Arabic language skills are an advantage.
