Job Overview:
We are looking for a customer service representative for our client in a reputable establishment in Hong Kong. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring that customers have a seamless and positive shopping experience. Specifically, you will assist customers with inquiries, help them locate products, and resolve complaints. Additionally, you will provide exceptional service that aligns with our store’s high standards. As a result, your efforts will contribute to customer satisfaction, foster loyalty, and create a welcoming atmosphere for shoppers.
Key Responsibilities of Customer Service Representative:
Customer Assistance
- Greet customers upon entering the store and offer prompt assistance.
- Offer guidance on store promotions, ongoing sales, loyalty programs, and product availability.
- Also, respond to customer inquiries regarding store policies, product features, and nutritional information.
Problem Resolution
- Handle customer complaints or concerns about products or services, ensuring quick and effective resolution.
- Process returns and exchanges in line with store policies while maintaining a positive customer experience.
- Address product quality or pricing issues and escalate to management when needed.
Store Support:
- Assist with stock replenishment and product organization to keep shelves well-stocked and orderly.
- Support the checkout area by helping cashiers as needed and ensuring an efficient checkout process.
- Report inventory issues, such as expired or damaged products, to management promptly.
Promotional and Event Support:
- Inform customers about current discounts, seasonal promotions, and loyalty program benefits.
- Help organize and promote in-store events or tastings, engaging customers to boost participation.
- Encourage sign-ups for the store’s loyalty program or newsletter to enhance customer engagement.
Safety and Cleanliness:

- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe store environment in compliance with health and safety standards.
- Contribute to overall cleanliness by keeping aisles, product displays, and checkout areas tidy.
- Support proper stock rotation, especially for perishable items, to ensure fresh products are consistently available to customers.
Team Collaboration:

- Collaborate with team members within the department and across other areas to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Share customer feedback and product insights with management to support continuous improvement.
- Take part in team meetings and training sessions to stay informed about new products, updated policies, and customer service best practices.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in customer service, retail settings is preferred.
- Experience handling customer inquiries, complaints, and returns.
- Strong communication skills in Cantonese and/or Mandarin (English proficiency is a plus).
- Excellent problem-solving, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Basic understanding of grocery products, including food safety and nutrition information.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on customer satisfaction and store standards.
