Contemporary Chinese Restaurant Manager Responsibilities:
- Oversees the function of all restaurant members, sales and costs to ensure maximum departmental profit is achieved.
- Review and evaluate the degree of guest satisfaction to recommend operating and marketing policies
- Develop and recommend the budget, concepts and objectives and manage within approved plans.
- Coordinates with the head chef for the preparation and service of F&B products to ensure highest quality at all times.
- Keeps aware of trends, systems, practices and equipment in F&B preparation
- Meet with all FOH staff to review schedules, assignments, changes and other information pertinent to the job performance.
- Restaurant Manager must promote positive guest relations at all times.
Contemporary Chinese Restaurant Manager Requirements:
• Previous experience as a Restaurant manager or equivalent experience strongly preferred.
• Experience working with a luxury or upmarket restaurant, or brand strongly preferred.
• Hospitality degree, and/or Diploma/Some College or an equivalent combination of education and work-related
experience.
• Must be proficient in POS, knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Must have excellent presentation and be extremely guest focused.
• Must have attention to detail and have the ability to multi-task; follow up and leadership skills required.
