Assistant Manager – French Boutique Job Summary:

• In the absence of the RM, oversees accurate checkouts, banking procedures, inventories, and reporting
• Assists the RM in keeping the SBU’s HR files are kept up-to-date
• Training, developing, and monitoring of the subordinates to ensure consistent demonstration of  customer service standards
• Ensures sanitation requirements is adhere to by all employees
• Solid knowledge in the local competitive market – both current and future developments
• Spends time before, during, and after each shift with all new employees under training as directed by the RM.
• Helps the RM in manpower planning to ensure quality guest service and remain within the Manpower Planning Budget set.
• Conducts morning walk throughout the SBU with the cleaning crew.
• Responds immediately to any maintenance or cleanliness problems during shifts.
• Sanitation requirements are adhere to by all employees.
• Notifies Maintenance of any issue regarding issues with the SBU’s equipment.
• May be required to attend events outside of the workplace representing the company both locally and internationally.
• Is fully responsible and accountable for ensuring that all guests are serve as per the Brand standard.
• Make sure that all colleagues have the correct knowledge to perform the duties assigned to them.
• Has full control of a shift and ensures all team members are performing their duties effectively.
• Is fully responsible and accountable for ensuring that all team members have full menu knowledge
• All activities and operations are to the Brand’s Standard Operating Policies and Procedures.

Requirements:

– Management/ Hospitality Degree or relevant experience
– 3 years Restaurant/ Hotel Management experience
– Outstanding background in customer service – Food and Service knowledge
– Excellent business acumen – P&L, budgets
– Good leadership skills, professional, team leader, motivator, and trainer
