Position Overview:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and customer-oriented Restaurant Server to join our team in Hong Kong. In this role, you will be the face of the dining experience, responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests and ensuring their satisfaction throughout their visit. You will be working in a fast-paced, high-energy environment where you will assist in delivering high-quality food and beverages. By maintaining a friendly, professional attitude, you will contribute to a welcoming atmosphere and ensure that every guest has an outstanding dining experience from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet guests warmly and offer them menus. Then, provide information about daily specials and promotions to set a positive tone for their dining experience.
  • Take food and beverage orders accurately and relay them to the kitchen and bar staff in a timely manner, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
  • Ensure that all orders are served correctly and promptly, maintaining the flow of the dining experience to keep guests satisfied.
  • Provide excellent customer service by attending to guests’ needs and requests throughout their meal, making sure they feel valued and cared for.
  • Monitor guest satisfaction and resolve any concerns or issues promptly, addressing them in a professional manner to ensure a positive overall experience.
  • Keep up-to-date knowledge of the menu, including ingredients and preparation methods, to confidently answer guests’ questions and offer thoughtful recommendations.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables between guests, to create a welcoming and tidy environment.
  • Assist with food and beverage service, such as refilling drinks, clearing plates, and delivering special requests, ensuring consistent service throughout the meal.
  • In collaboration with kitchen staff, ensure smooth communication and timely delivery of orders, helping to prevent delays and maintain efficiency.
  • Process payments and handle cash or credit transactions accurately, ensuring a seamless and secure checkout experience for guests.
  • Follow all health and safety regulations, including food handling and sanitation protocols, to ensure a safe and hygienic environment for both guests and staff.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality role is preferred, but not required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with guests.
  • Friendly, approachable, and customer-focused with a positive attitude.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of food and beverage menus is a plus.
  • Fluent in English and Cantonese; Mandarin is a plus.
  • Ability to stand for long periods and carry heavy trays.
  • A passion for providing excellent service and a genuine interest in the hospitality industry.

  • Full-time position, with shifts that may include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
