Designation: Contracts Specialist
Department: Projects & Facilities Management
Job Purpose:
The Contracts Specialist is responsible for managing the full lifecycle of contracts within the organization, ensuring that all agreements are drafted, reviewed, negotiated, and executed in compliance with legal standards and company policies.
Contracts Specialist Key Accountabilities:
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and related documents to ensure compliance with legal and organizational standards.
- Maintain an organized system for contract tracking and management, ensuring timely renewals and compliance with deadlines. Prepare and submit all necessary documentation for customs clearance and compliance, including phytosanitary certificates and import permits.
- Identify potential risks and legal implications in contracts and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure contract terms align with objectives and risk management policies.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for contract-related inquiries and concerns, providing guidance to internal teams and external partners.
- Facilitate discussions between departments and external parties to resolve contract disputes or issues.
- Stay informed about relevant laws and regulations impacting contract management and ensure compliance with all applicable legal standards.
- Assist in conducting audits of contracts to ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare reports on contract performance, risks, and compliance for management review.
- Analyze contract data to identify trends and opportunities for process improvement.
- Maintain accurate records of all import/export transactions and prepare regular reports for management.
- Perform any other duties assigned by manager.
Contracts Specialist Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Law, or a related field. A Masters degree or relevant certification.
Minimum years of experience
- 5 years of similar experience
Skills and Competencies
- Good communication in English, Arabic will be an added advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
