Event & Programming Director Role
You will lead and be responsible for all aspects of Events and Programming and delivering, driving, and implementing the Event Calendar.

You will be comfortable with engaging with members, partners, and across teams and be a strategic business partner for all internal and external stakeholders. You will be responsible for conceptualizing and driving Events & Programming with a key focus on engaging and exciting every member of the community through excellent experiences. You will be engaged with trends and current affairs and be able to push boundaries in the generation of new and interesting ideas for events and topics for salon discussions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conceptualize, plan and coordinate a calendar of events taking into consideration local nuances and global trends, and current affairs.

• Engage with partners and members to offer creative ideas and innovative solutions and always seek to deliver exceptional and unforgettable moments through hospitality, food, drink, events, experiences, and amenities.

• Work closely and collaboratively with other heads of department including Kitchen, Membership, Service and Finance for the successful execution of an event.

• Ensure that every event is well executed and implemented and that all events reflect our values and ethos.

• Build, lead, recruit and train team members to deliver incredible experiences.

• Establish policies, processes, and procedures to ensure the effective and successful delivery of events.

Required Skills/Qualifications:

• At least 10+ years conceptualizing, producing, planning, and delivering incredible events from salon talks to club-wide parties;

• Creative problem solver and analytical thinker who encompasses strong business aptitude is driven by results and member satisfaction;

• You must be an excellent communicator and able to deal with people and solve problems effectively and be able to handle difficult situations under pressure;

• You must have a wide network of contacts, including suppliers, speakers, artists, sponsors, and media which will enable you to deliver exceptional world-class hospitality and events;

• You must  be highly organized, detail-oriented and a meticulous planner and have considered all aspects of each event;
• You must be an excellent leader and able to build and train a team and be able to work with management and other team members;

• You must have good organizational, analytical, and coordinating abilities and be able to drive revenues and manage a P&L.
