- Responsible for leading the pizza kitchen staff and for the expedition of all pizza oven menu items
- Oversee the entire pizza-making process, including preparing the “Pizza dough” from A to Z with the required consistency and in sufficient quantities exactly as per the set franchise recipe along with all other pizza ingredients (e.g. slicing and chopping toppings like vegetables and meats and executing customers’ orders considering special requests).
- Responsible for keeping the work areas clean and tidy, in accordance with all applicable local food safety and hygiene standards, carrying out routine maintenance of the pizza oven and any kitchen utensils and equipment (e.g. slicers for cured meats).
- Must be able to perform effectively and professionally and under stressful conditions and should be comfortable working in front of customers and especially locals (e.g. the work/oven area might be visible to the rest of the restaurant).
- Prepare and handle all delivery and take away orders during shift.
- To be successful in such a role, the chef and/or Pizza handler should have the following qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3-years’ experience working and with various international pizzeria’s chains and in preparing the above.
- Local experience and knowledge for sourcing of key pizza ingredients & kitchen supplies is a plus.
- Knowledge of ingredients and recipes and pizza-making process
- Experienced in the use of various pizza ovens.
- Knowledge of the English language is required, with Arabic being a plus.
- Reliability, professionalism and speed with organizational skill, communication and interpersonal skills. Team working spirit a must
- Ability to work under pressure in a hectic work environment and flexibility and willingness to work shifts, weekends and evenings
- Candidates must be based in Saudi Arabia
