About the Role:
The Restaurant Manager plays a pivotal leadership role in shaping the front-of-house experience, overseeing daily operations while setting the tone for service excellence. This position is ideal for an accomplished hospitality professional who thrives in a fine-dining environment, leads by example, and is passionate about creating meaningful, memorable guest interactions while maintaining the highest operational standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct and oversee all front-of-house operations to ensure seamless, polished, and consistent service throughout each service period.
- Inspire, lead, and mentor the service team to deliver warm, refined, and attentive hospitality at every touchpoint.
- Champion service standards, guest engagement practices, and brand values across all dining experiences.
- Serve as the primary ambassador for guest relations, proactively managing feedback, special requests, and service recovery with confidence and discretion.
- Collaborate closely with the culinary and sommelier teams to ensure flawless service flow and alignment between kitchen and dining room.
- Plan and manage staff scheduling, floor coverage, and assignments to optimize service quality and operational efficiency.
- Train, coach, and develop team members to elevate service knowledge, professionalism, and career growth.
- Monitor service performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement enhancements to guest experience.
- Ensure full compliance with hygiene, safety, and operational policies while maintaining an immaculate dining environment.
- Oversee reservations, table management, and guest flow to maximize comfort, efficiency, and overall satisfaction.
- Support budgeting, cost control, and inventory management for front-of-house operations.
- Represent the restaurant with poise, leadership, and professionalism during daily service and special events.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or Assistant Restaurant Manager in a fine-dining or luxury hospitality environment.
- Strong leadership and people management skills with a hands-on approach.
- Excellent knowledge of fine-dining service standards, etiquette, and guest relations.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with guests and team members.
- Experience working in high-pressure, high-expectation environments.
- Financial awareness, including labor control and basic cost management.
- Proficiency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
