Pastry Sous Chef
The role will be focused on leading, inspiring, and developing the Kitchen team within the Pastry Section.
Pastry Sous Chef Responsibilities:
- Work with the Senior Team to ensure the food is delivered to the highest standard in the section of responsibility
- Coach and develop CDP and Commis Chefs to ensure their skills are being enhanced
- Check the section for standards regularly ensuring that all audits are completed
- Take ownership of the stocktake and feedback on any key indicators to the Head chef
- Work with the Senior Chefs to help produce monthly reporting for the Kitchen
- Work closely with the Restaurant team, between front and back of the house
- Communicate effectively ensuring that the teams are aware of the menu
Pastry Sous Chef Requirements:
- Must be a current Sous Chef in a quality establishment
- Must be passionate about patisserie and fresh, seasonal foods
- Must have excellent longevity with his/her past employers
- Must have excellent leadership and motivational skills
