Event and Programming Director Role:
The role will lead and be responsible for all aspects of Events and Programming across all our venues within the Hong Kong site.
You will be comfortable with engaging with C-suite and be a strategic business partner for all internal and external stakeholders. You will be responsible for conceptualizing and driving Events & Programming across all venues with a key focus on engaging and exciting every member of the community through excellent experiences.
Event and Programming Director Responsibilities:
- Conceptualize, plan and coordinate a calendar of events across different venues taking into consideration local nuances and global trends.
- Engage with partners to offer creative ideas and innovative solutions and always seek to deliver exceptional and unforgettable moments through hospitality, food, drink, events, experiences, and amenities.
- Organize, mobilize and coordinate the different internal and external stakeholders, departments and suppliers, participants, and members for the successful execution of an event.
- Build, lead, recruit and train excellent teams in the market to deliver the best experiences.
- Establish policies, processes, and procedures to ensure effective and successful delivery of events.
- Drive and track engagement, revenues, and profits of all events and report to the Group Management team.
Event and Programming Director Requirements:
- At least 10+ years conceptualizing, producing, planning, and delivering events across markets, managing multi-market teams;
- Possess a global outlook and strategic mindset, intellectually curious;
- Creative problem solver and analytical thinker who encompasses strong business aptitude is driven by results and guest satisfaction;
- Must be an excellent communicator and able to deal with people and solve problems effectively and be able to handle difficult situations under pressure;
- You will have a wide network of contacts, including suppliers, speakers, artists, sponsors, and media which will enable you to deliver exceptional world-class hospitality and events;
- Must be highly organized, detail-oriented and a meticulous planner and have considered all aspects of each event;
- Must have good organizational, analytical, and coordinating abilities and be able to drive revenues and manage a P&L.
